Some time back I wrote about the Comgrow/Sovol T300 and was mostly asking if there really is a market for that segment - yet another “one in a 1000” fast bed slingers. But now I think that Sovol did something really interesting. I am sure that this new approach will be their best model released in 2024.
A Clever Move
While the biggest in the market are all pushing out the same - IDEX, fast Klipper printers - Sovol looked to another market. They decided to join a niche market - the Voron 2.4 specifically - and created a clone. Isn’t that just ripping off the Voron community? Maybe they were afraid of that general opinion and decided to support the whole Voron community by donating a small percentage from every sold unit. A very clever move!
