New Printer Released
Sovol released a new printer called Comgrow T300 . Is it a collaboration between Sovol and Comgrow? I try to understand the joint effort between Sovol and Comgrow. Didn’t I read somewhere that Sovol overtook Comgrow? Not sure…
Is There a Market For it?
The strange is the market for that specific printer specification - 300*300*250 mm build area - as both Sovol and Comgrow have a lot of printers with similar specifications and performance. I am of course thinking of the Sovol SV04, SV06/SV06 plus and one of the later SV07/SV07 plus. Additionally Comgrow have the T500 which is very similar to Sovol’s plus series.
If you also take into consideration the other companies - Creality, Anycubic, Qidi, Anker, Artillery etc - competing in the same segment, it make even less sense as the market is fears.
Conclusion
I am not sure I would pick the T300 when the only selling point it’s got going is the 600 mm/s speed and the Klipper that gives pressure advanced and input shaping. Especially since it is becoming the norm these days.
I would probably buy 2 Sovol SV07’s for the same price or better spend that amount and bump up the quality level and buy the new delta printer FLSun T1 or the Creality K1C or why not the Creality Ender-3 v3 KE. All are better printers and a much better deal.
