Update of My Prusa Mini+ Firmware and Bootloader

I had a feeling that it was time to check my Prusa Mini+ 3D printer if there was something to update. I checked the latest firmware on the Prusa website and ended up here for some details.

The feeling were correct, a new major version - 6.1.2 - and it is also bundled with a new Bootloader, namely version 2.3.5. If I am not mistaken my previous version of the Bootloader was 2.3.1. But the focus was the firmware and new nice features…

The new firmware for Mini+ is sharing the same firmware as for the MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, MK3.5, MK3.5S and XL 3D printers, the specifics for me is limited but still very interesting of course. The enhancements in the generic stability is always the biggest perk of course. I found that the new Networks Screen, the new bootloader and the G-code check are the most interesting updates for me.

It was done without any issues, super smooth, just a matter of saving and extracting the compressed file to the USB stick - then a boot-up of the 3D printer and it was done.
